These terms apply to this website and to takeaway orders placed through it with The Octa, 08 Pietersz Pl, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka. By using the site or placing an order you accept them.
Menu and prices
- Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) and include any taxes we are required to charge, unless we tell you otherwise.
- We keep the menu up to date, but dishes and prices can change. If a price has changed since you ordered, we will tell you before preparing your food.
- Photos show how we serve dishes; garnish and presentation may vary.
- Prices and offers on Uber Eats are set in that app and may differ from our restaurant prices.
Placing a takeaway order
- An order is confirmed when we accept it on WhatsApp or by phone, or when an online card payment succeeds.
- We may decline or change an order if a dish is sold out, in which case we will contact you and refund any online payment for items we cannot provide.
- Please collect your order at the time you chose. Food is prepared fresh and is best eaten soon after collection.
Cancellations and refunds
To cancel, call 076 622 4545 as early as possible. If we have not started cooking we will cancel and refund any online payment in full. If there is a problem with your food, tell us at collection or call us the same day and we will put it right.
Allergies and dietary needs
Our menu includes eggs, milk, wheat, peanuts, cashew nuts, fish, shellfish and sesame, and other allergens may be present. Tell us about any allergy before you order. Dishes marked vegetarian contain no meat or fish, but we cannot guarantee there is no cross-contact.

The text, photos and logo on this site belong to The Octa or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use. We try to keep the site accurate and available but cannot guarantee it will always be error-free.
